The Director’s Guild of America has published this brilliant resource on their website: Pro-Tips for Climate Action. It is available to everyone, and offers practical sustainability-focused recommendations that directors and their teams can adopt into their workflows.

Picture Zero’s Steve Smith also ran a bespoke training, on behalf of BAFTA albert. He trained 10 chosen directors, while more than 200 DGA members tuned in. The group on the panel boasted an impressive 14 EMMYS, 19 DGA AWARDS, and 3 OSCARS. It was a first-of-its-kind event, focusing on sustainable production and editorial story-telling. We hope to see more sustainability-focused training for senior teams become common-practice in the years to come!
